Biography

Diana I. Olmedo was born in Michoacán, Mexico and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Political Science and a B.S. in Psychology in 2019. Ms. Olmedo received her J.D. with honors from S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah in 2022. While attending law school, Ms. Olmedo served as the Vice President of the Minority Law Caucus, served on the board of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice, advanced to the semi-finals of the S.J. Quinney College of Law's Traynor Moot Court Competition, and was actively involved in the Family Law Pro-Bono Clinic. Ms. Olmedo was also Student Fellow for the Center for Law and Biomedical Science for the year 2020-2021, and a research assistant for Associate Dean Louisa Heiny for the year 2021-2022. Ms. Olmedo was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 2022. She speaks fluent Spanish and is constantly looking for ways remain connected to her cultural roots through music and involvement in the community. Her areas of practice include family law and personal injury. Outside of her professional life, Ms. Olmedo enjoys reading classic literature and poetry, attending live music events, spending time with her family, and traveling.
