Biography

Aspen M. Jensen grew up in American Fork, Utah. There she worked as a stone mason hod tender in the family business and acquired a passion for construction law. Ms. Jensen earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from BYU-Idaho in 2016. She attended Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University earning her Juris Doctor in 2021. While in law school she was a member of the Law Journal for Social Justice, as well as the Native American Law Student Association where she gained a specialty in Indian Law. Ms. Jensen became a member of the Utah State Bar in 2022. She was honored to be one of twelve lawyers chosen to be part of the Utah State Bar Leadership Academy of 2024. She currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake, and also serves as Chair of the Indian Law Section of the Utah State Bar. Ms. Jensen joined Scalley Reading in 2025 where she practices in construction disputes, business law, contracts, insurance defense, and federal Indian law. As a civil litigator who prioritizes her clients' needs, Ms. Jensen has saved her clients millions of dollars by promoting negotiations and creative solutions. Ms. Jensen is a member of the Navajo Nation (Dine) and continues to serve the greater Native American population in Utah. Ms. Jensen enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, reading, gardening, and making stained glass.
