Biography
Mark S. Middlemas joined Scalley Reading Bates Rasmussen & Hansen in 2023. Before joining the firm, Mark enjoyed a diverse practice with Peterson, Reed, Warlaumont & Stout in construction, collections, real property, and bankruptcy for suppliers, contractors, and credit unions. From 2004-2008, Mark acted as the bankruptcy, foreclosure and litigation attorney for Castle, Meinhold & Stawiarski’s Utah division, and as the in-house attorney for First Southwestern Title of Utah. Mark was an attorney and shareholder at Lundberg & Associates 2008-2023 (shareholder 2013-2023), where he worked primarily in creditor bankruptcy specializing in mortgage default servicing. Halliday Watkins and Mann acquired Lundberg & Associates in 2023, where Mark focused on creditor bankruptcy strategies for mortgage lenders and consumer retailers, and acted as the supervising bankruptcy attorney for the firm’s bankruptcy practice in 13 states. Mark currently serves as a board member of the Utah Bankruptcy Lawyer’s Forum (President 2013-2017), which provides bankruptcy focused continuing legal education.
