Biography

Mr. Bridge was born in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He graduated cum laude from the University of Utah in 1997 with a B.A. in Chinese and a B.S. in economics.  He received his J.D. from the University of Utah in 2001 where he received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Civil Procedure.  He was a staff member of the Utah Law Review from 1999 to 2000 and published Domestic Violence Amendment: Eliminating the Victim’s Ability to Make a Motion to Dismiss Independently, 1999 UTAH L. REV. 1184.  He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in October of 2001 and is a member of the construction law section.  He is the past president (2015-2016) of the Utah Defense Lawyers Association and now serves as a board member.  He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI).  He was selected by his peers to Utah Business Magazine’s 2014-2015, 2017-2020 annual list of the “Legal Elite” in the area of insurance.  In 2019, the Construction Defect & Dispute Conference selected Mr. Bridge as their lawyer of the year.  Mr. Bridge is experienced in trial, arbitration, and mediation.  His practice focuses on insurance defense litigation including personal injury, construction defect, products liability, design professional liability, workers compensation, subrogation, bad faith insurance claims, and insurance coverage disputes.  He speaks Mandarin Chinese.
